Update #1 - Combat Update


New Combat!

With the most recent update, Hilogotchi now has combat built within it. Although very rudimentary and ultimately gimmicky, you can now send your pets out to fight against rivals for the chance to win more money, fame, and glory! All fighting, like the previous versions, only make use of the buttons provided. There are 7 ranks to get through, each with increasing difficulty. Find the limits of your pet, and push beyond them!

Bug Fixes

So many freaking bugs. And a bunch of them are fixed! Resetting a character should now be implemented, as well as random colors for new pets, a better name generation system, and more. 

Named Rivals

I NEED MORE NAMES! If you've found this devlog, please comment some pet names, as well as owner names for the game's combat system. Right now, there are only a few. I utilized C#'s .csv reader to be able to read in data from a text file. Super neat, and I can't wait to do something similar for the Save Game system. 

Next Steps

Next, I'll be working on the save game/hall of fame system, as well as the particle system for combat, illness, and more! Leave suggestions down below if you have any ideas you'd like to see in the game.
